Sheet masks

Hi all- what sheet masks have you used during pregnancy? I’m super mindful (okay, paranoid 😝) about what I’m putting on my skin these days. I’ve done about a half hour of research but haven’t come up with anything definitive. Suggestions? Thanks! xx

@Brutalitops thanks for the tag but unfortunately I didn't get into masking until after I had the twins. @banannapants I would say to definitely avoid products (not just masks) with active ingredients while pregnant like retinol. You should be able to find some resources online. But talk to your doctor. Even bring in the masks you would want to use and they could help determine if there are ingredients you should steer clear of. Congratulations and good luck!

@banannapants I actually didn’t use any sheet masks while I was pregnant because I wasn’t sure if what I used to use was safe and didn’t want to risk it.

@SportyGirly125or @ShortErica might have some good suggestions? IMO (though I have not had a baby, so grains of salt) a lot of sheet masks are really just water and glycerin. Unless you enjoy the ritual of a sheet mask, which is a fair ting to find value in, I think you get more bang for your buck with more traditional facemasks.

Anyhoo, there's lots of great clean options. Farmacy Coconut Gel Sheet Mask - Brightening 0.78 oz/ 23 mL and SATURDAY SKIN - Cotton Cloud Probiotic Power Mask are some favorites of mine, thoughTatcha, origins, and primera also have some good options. WEI beauty made all my favorite masks, including sheet masks, though they are sadly no longer offered through Sephora, and whole foods has a surprisingly good range these days too
