New Mom Care Package

Good mornings y’all’s! 

I have a coworker who is going to be a mom for the very first time. I already got her baby a gift but I’m hoping to put some items in the gift for her as well. I was thinking of masks, fuzz socks, and a plastic wine tumbler.

Any moms who wish they would have gotten something- that can be purchased haha- in a “new mom care package” to help relax a little bit?

Lip balm, dry shampoo, body wash and hand cream! Those first weeks are total survival mode.

@Anonymous thats so sweet! We actually did the same thing for one of my coworkers recently and these were the items we got her (and she loved!) and a recommendation I got from other recent moms I work with

She was a person who liked clean beauty and organic products, we wanted to make sure she could have that at home spa type feel but also wanted to include products that could be practical. One piece of advice that I giggled at but I totally get was don't bother with a wash off mask she might put it on and then never ge the time to rinse it off again and with a sheet mask she might not be able to sit still to keep it from sliding on her face.

I have a 7 month old and I love that you are putting in self-care items for mom, that is great! 

I would also suggest a fancy smelling body wash and some nice coffee/tea

I love the coffee and tea idea too! I’ll check out some subtle body wash that feels more better than the smell. We work in the hospital and we can’t wear fragrances or perfumes. Thank you (:

Another cute gift is a waterbottle from Ban.Do.  After preganncy it helps to stay hydrated.  They have this in a Tumbler and also a sports bottle.  Another great gift is lactation cookies that help with milk supply like the one below.

@Anonymous Your welcome. I just had my baby a year ago and these helped me.  I don't think the socks came in yet because I asked on Friday but they are up online.  They will probably hit stores very soon.  Another great gift is a Mom organizer.  You can check out some from Jujube.
