PLAY! by SEPHORA has some exciting news to share with you. Starting in May 2016, we’re expanding PLAY! to the lower 48 states and giving our PLAY! boxes a makeover!
For those of you already on the waitlist as of April 8th, 2016, we will be sending out invitations in waves until all available spots are filled. Invitations will be sent based on when you joined the waitlist. Spots are still limited, so please act quickly if you receive an invitation. As a reminder, when you receive your invitation to join, be sure to enter the same email address used to join the waitlist. If you don’t receive an invitation this time around, or you joined the waitlist after April 8th – don’t worry! As more spots open up each month, we’ll continue to send out invitations on a rolling, first come, first served basis.
If you would like to join the waitlist, please enter your email by visiting www.sephora.com/play. You will be included in future months’ invitations.
A: The first wave of invitations for signup will be sent during mid-April 2016. They will continue to be sent out in monthly increments as the program grows.
A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is currently only available in the U.S. and can ship to any address in the contiguous 48 states.
A: Box quantities are limited each month. If you are invited to subscribe to PLAY! by SEPHORA, please redeem your invitation and claim your spot as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on that month’s box.
A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is not currently available in Canada; however, we will keep you posted on any plans for expansion.
Q: I am a US resident and do not live in one of the contiguous 48 states. When will PLAY! be available to me?
A: We are currently exploring ways to expand our shipping capabilities to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Military Bases. We'll be notifying clients as soon as we have an update and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Got an email yesterday saying I was off the list as well, and when I logged on apparently my spot is already gone. Has anyone ever gotten off the waitlist?
I'm bummed. I don't understand how the signup works, and I echo everyone else's issues that they've already posted below. Sephora, you're such a lovely store. Why can't you get your stuff together and make a waitlist that doesn't malfunction?
The next time I get an email saying I'm 'off the waitlist' for Sephora Play, I want to click on that link and actually be able to sign up for a box. It's the least you can do, Sephora.
It doesn't make sense to use the same entry for a reserved spot and to get on the waitlist. Each time a person tries to claim their spot it is just creating a longer waitlist because no matter how many emails I have received that I am off the waitlist I am just put back on it. Why isn't there a special link to another page to claim a spot?

Yet again I get an email saying i'm off the waitlist and again it said that all the spots were taken. I'll wait one more time, but I don't understand what the issue is. Sephora please look into this so that you do not have angry customers.
Seems like false advertisement to me. I get the same message as everyone else. When I complained and pushed for a reason I got that it was a software issue and that it had been fixed Sephora needs to drop the program if this is the best they can do.

I got an email that a spot opened and boom... Gone! Why don't they give us 24 hours and hold our spot. Especially when we are VIB.... Boo!
I attempted to sign up after being told that I was off the wait list (in a manner of hours after being told) only to find when I went to sign up it put me back on the wait list!!!! What's up with that?
I've been on the wait list for weeks! I received at email yesterday that I was taken off the wait list. However, when I went to sign up I was put on the WAIT LIST AGAIN! I guess I'll stick with ipsy and birchbox and add boxy charm, since I'm not allowed to "Play."
This is the 2nd time I get an invite telling me I am off the wait list to only be told there are no spots and that I have been placed ont he wait list again. What gives Sephora? Please respond to my message.
This just happened to me! Irritating.
So I got an invite and went to claim my spot...but then it said this?????
"There are currently no spots available. We've added you to the waitlist and will notify you when a subscription is available."
wat do I do now??? I thought I was off the waiting list?!
I got an invite that I was off of the waitlist and when I click to join it says there are no more spots. Huh?!?!? So frustrating!!!
Hi anyone frustrated as I am getting an invite and then getting refused saying no more spots available contact customer service link above on Sephora. Title it Re Play by Sephora and tell them you got an invite only to be told once again no more spots available. Maybe if they get bombarded with complaints something will be done. The very least maybe they will just send out just enough invites to fill the spots they have. It is very mean to send out invites when they don't have enough subscriber spots. I have contacted Customer Service and received response. Believe me if they get enough complaints they will do something about this. P.S wish they gave us time to respond to invite. After all people go to work and cannot look at their email every second of the day. Good Luck everyone.
I am getting really anxious. They need to expand this program so everyone can Play....I've been on the waitlist for weeks. 😞
why weren't VIB members given preference ; especially Rouge members --- from all the comments -- I think you missed the mark on this Sephora

I, like many others, received my email from Sephora stating I was off the waitlist and I could claim my spot. Within an hour of receiving the email I tried to claim my spot, but as soon as I entered my email address I was put right back on the waitlist. This does not create more excitement for these boxes. If anything it is just frustrating and makes me want to take all of my business elsewhere. Please come up with a better system!
I've been on the wait list for months and still haven't heard anything.
I got my email yesterday at 2:21 that I was off the wait list. Last month, I got one & waited a few days & was put back on the wait list so this time at 3:00 I saw the email & immediately went to claim my box. I made it in & went all the way to the checkout. Once I entered my payment info (because I usually shop in store so it asked me to update my info) I was taken to a screen that said my cart was empty!??! I tried to hit the "back" button but it still said my cart was empty. I then went back to my email & attempted to subscribe again & OMG! IT PUT ME BACK ON THE WAIT LIST AGAIN!!! So frustrating!! I, like so many others am about to just stop trying & save myself the disappointment again! I get a few boxes already & thought I would maybe cancel one of my least faves for this one but I guess I'l'll stick w/ my current ones since this one doesn't want to "play" nice!! 😞
