PLAY! by SEPHORA Invitation FAQs

PLAY! by SEPHORA has some exciting news to share with you. Starting in May 2016, we’re expanding PLAY! to the lower 48 states and giving our PLAY! boxes a makeover!

 

For those of you already on the waitlist as of April 8th, 2016, we will be sending out invitations in waves until all available spots are filled. Invitations will be sent based on when you joined the waitlist. Spots are still limited, so please act quickly if you receive an invitation. As a reminder, when you receive your invitation to join, be sure to enter the same email address used to join the waitlist. If you don’t receive an invitation this time around, or you joined the waitlist after April 8th – don’t worry! As more spots open up each month, we’ll continue to send out invitations on a rolling, first come, first served basis.

 

If you would like to join the waitlist, please enter your email by visiting www.sephora.com/play. You will be included in future months’ invitations.

 

Q: When will invites be sent out to people who are on the waitlist?

A: The first wave of invitations for signup will be sent during mid-April 2016. They will continue to be sent out in monthly increments as the program grows.

 

Q: Where does PLAY! by SEPHORA ship?

A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is currently only available in the U.S. and can ship to any address in the contiguous 48 states.

 

Q: If I do get an invite, am I guaranteed a box?

A: Box quantities are limited each month. If you are invited to subscribe to PLAY! by SEPHORA, please redeem your invitation and claim your spot as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on that month’s box.

 

Q: Will Canadians have an opportunity to subscribe?

A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is not currently available in Canada; however, we will keep you posted on any plans for expansion.

 

Q: I am a US resident and do not live in one of the contiguous 48 states. When will PLAY! be available to me?

A: We are currently exploring ways to expand our shipping capabilities to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Military Bases. We'll be notifying clients as soon as we have an update and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I also received the email but when i go to sign up it says that their are no open spots at this moment 😕

 Hi I received an email saying I was off the wait list when I clicked on the link says none available

Same problem as everyone else - 3pm "You are off the waitlist" invitation and yet, I can't join just a few hours later. So frustrating!!!!

I also received the invitation at around 3:20 and go to subscribe at 6pm and puts me back on the wait list and says no spots available. I am super bummed. Any word on if this is an error or do the spots just fill up that quickly??

I am having the same problem. I got the email at 2:02 and have been trying since 4:30. I had it in my basket and then got an error message. Now it says "no spots" available and it put me on ANOTHER wait list!

I'm having the same issue. According to the time stamp, I got the email 3 hours ago. I work during the day so this is the first chance I've had to sign up. What's the point of a 8 day countdown timer in the email if you're not going to have enough spots for all the invitations you sent out? Especially if the spots are gone in 3 hours. I hope this is just a technical issue and not really poor planning on Sephora's part.

I am experiencing the same issue. I just received a confirmation email that I was off the wait-list and had 8 days to join, once I try to join I am not able to. Do I have to be placed back on the wait-list?

I got an email that I'm off the waiting list as well, but each time I've tried to sign up, it says that I'm not able to. Is it possible to join manually?

I received the email that my wait was over and I could join.. Email said I have 8 days to respond and I click on the link to join and I am told that I need to be added to the wait list again as there are no spots.

Same issue as well...received my email, immediately went to subscribe and it tells me I was added to the wait list...even though the email said I was off the wait list and had 8 days to subscribe. Help, please.

Same issue as everyone else. Are they already sold out? I only got the email an hour ago. All the links just take you in a loop.
