Enjoying the plastic bag!

I was scrolling and saw a lot of people complaining about the plastic bag so I just wanted to pop in because I really enjoyed it! I’ve been receiving Play for what seems like a year now if not more and I have so many of those cloth bags I’ve started throwing them away! I love the plastic because I feel it’s safer to travel with if one of my products “explode” and I’ll honestly probably actually reuse this when I travel instead of stuffing it in my drawer/trash with the other fabric bags lol. Can’t please everyone! Thank you so much for all you do!

I like the plastic bagg too. It’s more of a tiny travel makeup bag.

I hear you and truly appreciate this point of view. Maybe a middle ground could be changing to a nice makeup bag or simply rotating the types of bags they use so there is variety and adds to the surprise element. Macys, for instance, uses a real makeup bag. It’s no coincidence the Sephora boxes that are more expensive have sequin, are cloth based, and shine.

I love the plastic bag. I can see what's inside, it stores better, seals better, and is waterproof. the first couple cloth bags were cute, but now that I've been with Play! for over a year, they are all pretty much the same.

Yes!! Yes!! Thank you!!! I was also thrilled with the new plastic bag!!! I was getting so sick of those cheap cloth bags and honestly disappointed that they didn’t use anything more presentable that better represented their high-end image. This new plastic style is just what they needed to not only make the subscription more useful but also makes for a far, far, far better presentation!! This has actually made me MORE excited to receive it!!! I hope this is a permanent change and not just something temporary for this month’s box. Obviously, the products were also all great this time around!!

THANK YOU for the plastic bags!! I hated the cloth ones so much. It was wasteful and they weren't even cute. If anyone else was around when they did the rubber envelope style bag, that was the only other one I kept because it was different and I use it as a pencil bag for my work tote. I have tossed the past cloth bags in my donations, but I much prefer this plastic that I can easily toss with my recycling. Please keep the plastic!

Same here been subscribed for over a year and I have no use for those cloth bags. What am I supposed to do with over 12 cloth bags? I'm sure I'll get comments on fillimg them with donations for a womens shelter but lets get real here how many people actually go out of their way in doing that. And whoever does bless your heart. Whatever way they decide to give our products it will still be bad for the environment plastic, cloth, boxes etc. No matter what sephora does their will always be people that complain about something, theres no winning.

I I really enjoyed my play box this month. I love everything I received I do feel bad that a lot of people didn't get the shade that was meant for them in the Marc Jacobs Foundation that I am so happy that it worked for me as you said you can't please everyone all the time and sometimes I get Shades that don't work on me in somethings. also if you didn't rip through the bag like a maniac the bag is totally reusable it actually looks like it has like a ziplock thing on the top weather in not it does you could reuse bag I personally like this bag better as the cloth bags don't do much for unless you're about to make a quilt out of your play bags anyway thank you so much for this.
