Sunscreen

Maybe this has been answered somewhere before but why does Canada get like none of the sunscreens that the US does?

For example, E.L.F. Cosmetics Holy Hydration! Face Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen. It's not on their Canadian website, yet I can buy it at Shoppers Drug Mart.

I was also looking forward to trying The INKEYlist Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen SPF 30, It was on Sephora's Canadian website as coming soon for a while, until it was eventually removed altogether...

Does anyone have any good budget friendly sunscreen recs that are easy to find in Canada that's good for oily/acne prone skin? (Specifically in Toronto, Ontario, so I have most of the major chains around me.)

Re: Sunscreen

@raphaela12   neutrogena Clear face spf 30/50 is a great one for face 👧

But, it depends if you prefer chemical SPF or mineral?

Re: Sunscreen

@ionianblue For the summer I'm okay with SPF30, and okay with either chemical or mineral as long as it's not to greasy as I have combination skin with some oily spots of concern.

I've used Elf Holy Hydration SPF 30 Moisturizer I bought from shoppers and it's very very greasy on my face. I use it for days I'm not going to work for that very reason.

I just bought CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 from Amazon to try as it was on sale for $16.49 when I was looking into it. I like it 1000% better then the Elf stuff as it's a mix of chemical and mineral and not nearly as greasy as the elf stuff!

The other one I was looking into was Cetaphil PRO DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 With Zinc Complex. Maybe I'll try that next time, but I like the CeraVe one better for the ingredients and mix of Chemical and Mineral SPF.

Re: Sunscreen

@raphaela12 it’s because Canada and the US has different regulations on it.
