Someone help what are some canadian makeup brands?!

Cheekbone Beauty from Ontario, they are Indigenous. Also Sequoia from the Kahesatake (sp?) area near Montreal.  Not sold at Sephora but their Strawberry Face Scrub is a personal fave.  Also Lise Watier, Marcelle, Annabelle…more affordable and available at Shoppers Drug Mart not Sephora.  The Ordinary was founded in Toronto (I think) but unlike like M.A.C is still in Toronto!

Estée Lauder bought out The Ordinary, unfortunately it is no longer Canadian!

Good to know.  It would be nice if Sephora would do what other retailers are doing and highlight Canadian brands that are actually based in Canada (so not Ilia)

But I don’t know which ones are products of Canada (98% Canadian contents) or made in Canada (51% Canadian contents).

Ilia’s headquarters are in California and I think most if those stuff is made in the US.  Gotta dig deep, just because a company founder was Cdn or the company was started in Canada doesn’t mean it is still Canadian.  This matters. It’s about where the majority of the profits go, where the taxes are filed.

Yes, founded in Canada, however, posting MAGA pictures all over and Jan 6th supporters. BIG disappointment. HUGE!
