My Manicure

22A4453F-4378-4449-A8FA-B397BF87926A.jpeg

Here is my manicure for the holidays it is a set of nail wraps I got from Lily & Fox I get a lot of my nail wraps from them and many other companies. Have you used nail wraps before if so what brands and where from?

Re: My Manicure

Thise are cool @Tina30219

Re: My Manicure

Your mani is lovely, @Tina30219 ! ☃️🎄😍  I've not tried nail wraps.  Although I've seen some pretty designs, they don't interest me as something I want to try.  Maybe one day??? 😁

Please join us on the Show Me Your Nails 2.0 thread!  We post our manis, ask and answer questions, and enjoy anything nail related.  It's open to everyone and any type of mani.  We'd love to have you! 🙂

Re: My Manicure

They look great! @Tina30219 I love nails wraps. I think they are*alot* easier to use than doing my own polish and trying designs myself. 😅

Have you seen this thread?

Show Me Your Nails 2.0

It's a great place to look at and share Mani's. From wraps, polishes or anything. You should check it out.

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu   They sure are I love nail wrap’s regular and semi cured which are gel .

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu   I am like you I love the designs on wraps I am no artist at all wish I could do some of the stuff I see online. They are definitely a lot easier than painting your nails. I have shared over on show me your nails.

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu - You've used nail wraps?  I didn't know that!  For some reason, they seem intimidating to me.  Is there a brand you recommend?  Lessons learned?

Re: My Manicure

@Titian06   A lot of people start out with Dashing Diva they are good you can get them in many stores there are lots of videos online to watch to learn how to apply them pretty easy though. I like Lily &Fox they are good and cheap.

Re: My Manicure

Thanks for your suggestions, @Tina30219 ! 💖💖💖

Re: My Manicure

That's the brand I've tried too @Titian06 Dashing Diva. It is available at a few stores here and they fit my nails well.

I think everything has a learning curve but they were basically pretty simple to use.

Thou everything new I try has a bit of a learning curve. 😅

I like these for special occasions due to them being one time use and a little pricey, thou not too bad.

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu   Yes it takes time and being patient to learn to do them perfectly and get them to last I have watched many videos on YouTube where a lot of them that use them can get them to last 2 weeks and that is the longest they recommend you wear them.

Re: My Manicure

Thanks, @CynthieLu !  I remember that top pic (animal prints, ya know...). 😁

Re: My Manicure

I like how pretty and fancy they make my nails look 🤩 and I think I still have a few packs of these I am just hanging on to @Titian06 but I believe it was just start with clean nails and go. Some people warm them up with a hair dryer to soften them up and make them more mailable but I haven't never tried. 🧐

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu   Yes the hair dryer method does work. It depends on weather also because I used another brand it was not dashing diva and they melted on my fingers I told the lady I got them from and she said in warm weather put them in either the refrigerator or freezer for a bit then it will work better.

Re: My Manicure

These are really good tips! Thank you @Tina30219 🙏🙏🙏

I have had some successes and few mishaps when I use them. I appreciate it!

Re: My Manicure

@CynthieLu @Glad to help. Yeah I am getting ready thanks to a person on Facebook in a group I am in to order some off of Temu and see what they are like I tried the semi cured ones had bad luck but they said I must have got a bad batch because most of the ladies on the group have tried them and never had issues.

Re: My Manicure

Hopefully you get your hands on ones you like @Tina30219 bad experiences can be hard to shake.

Let us know thou how they go. 😀
