Shaving and Skincare

Hello y’all!

So I’m a guy with a pretty solid skincare routine, except for one part that’s pretty chaotic: shaving. I never seem to have it stick to a certain part of my routine. Before cleansing? After? Somewhere in the middle of the entire thing? So I’m just curious where you guys put it in your routine.

@Sam013 I cleanse and exfoliate before shaving so the razor has less resistance and I can let it do it’s job of hair removal. Sometimes I’ll start with a warm shower or a hot towel over my facial hair to help relax my skin where I’m shaving. And I try to let the razor do the shaving by using a fresh blade and a light hand, not just pulling on it to get the hair off. I clean up the area one last time to remove any stray hairs and then continue with the rest of my routine to help calm my skin back down again.
