Makeup for actors

1. Hello, hope you’re doing well. 

Im a male #actor and I’d like to get some makeup that’ll help me achieve a clean look thatll look good on camera and in person of course.

I grow facial hair very quickly so I’m looking for a product that’ll help hide my stubble, while also hiding some #hyperpigmentation from scars whenever I shaved improperly.

I also think I need setting powder to apply under my eyes to make them seem brighter. 
Does anybody have any product recommendations or any makeup tips that’ll help me save money and/or with the makeup application itself in order to achieve a “natural” look.

@XoAndyXocheck out you tuber Wayne Goss for tips.  Some of his older content still works, for example, for heat waves, I spray setting spray into my hand with my foundation to make it more resistant to sweat.

You can use a primer like MILK MAKEUP Mini Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide .33 / 10 mL to extend the wear, I would treat it out because it's sticky and some emollient foundations might pill.  Elf also makes a similar primer, and has the putty primers if you're not oily.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place 24-Hour Longwear Foundationholds up for me under hot lighting like nothing else. lancôme and Dior Head ones I swear by, but they've been reformulated and I haven't tried the newer versions.  DIOR Dior Forever Skin Correct Full-Coverage Concealer is great and can also be sheered out to wear like foundation.

As far as setting powders, I'm privy to a few, consider your skin type because of you're dry a regular setting powder might look cakey.  By Terry, Uoma Beauty and Anna Sui (not sold here) have setting powders that are hydrating.  I'm oily combo, and I to like PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under Eye Powder Yellow , Ami Colé Skin Melt Talc-Free Loose Setting Powder , KVD Beauty Lock-It Setting Powder Standard Size Translucent - 0.67 oz and Uoma Beauty Trippin' Smooth setting powders

Also, use setting spray.  ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray 3.4 oz/ 143 mL is no joke.  That's a mini of it as well if you're looking to save some cash .  Milani "Make it Last" is a drugstore one that is really good.  Some people layer up on setting sprays, too

Also, use of those regular cosmetic wedges can help with applying foundation around your beard, like these from target
