please lmk if u have the same problem and know how to fix it :))

EDIT~ thanks, now i suggest the elf pore less putty primer, it smooths out your pores and makes them completely less noticeable!

@t4yL0rsv3rs10n @Anything that shimmers or that is lighter than a shadow is going to accentuate texture.  If you’re set on highlighting your nose first exfoliate and then use a lightweight pore blurring primer.  Then apply a highlighter that has more of a sheen to it than a shimmer.  You can also opt to highlight without shimmer or sheen at all.  You can do this by either using a concealer a shade lighter than your skintone or by using a powder foundation a shade lighter than your skintone to ‘highlight’ your nose.

Highlighter will make texture and pores more noticeable, it's just how it goes when putting a spotlight, so to speak, on them. To minimize this, look for glitter/sparkle free formulas that give a softer, more natural glow like the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked powder,  MAC Mineralize Skin Finish (Lightscapade and Soft & Gentle are cult classics) or Kjaer Weis Powder Highlighter (Beam is beautiful). If you're looking to splurge, Tom Ford's new Rose Irise is stunning and there's a gold shade if you prefer warm tones; it's more intense but can be applied lightly.

I don't use many liquid or cream highlights so maybe other responses will include some suggestions. Lastly, starting with a pore filling or blurring primer and finishing with a pore minimizing setting spray will help too. Hope this is helpful.
