makeup recommendations for newbie

Hey everyone!

I’ve been wearing makeup off and on for about 10 years now. But it’s usually just mascara, blush, concealer, and occasionally a lip color.

I’m wanting to start wearing makeup more consistently, and I am not sure where to begin!

I have a mascara that I like, and I just purchased a “tinted moisturizer”/“light coverage foundation” that I’ve worn a total of two times. My all time favorite lipstick is called Twig by MAC, but I seemed to have lost it.

I was a Glossier girl for a while, and I still am, but I’m trying to branch out and really dive in to the makeup world! I know how to do basic things like applying mascara and lipstick, but anything more than that is hit or miss.

All in all, I’d love makeup product recommendations, and makeup application pointers.
