When to replace makeup?

Hi beauty queens!


I just bought a product and it says it expires 02/24 which really surprised me. It is a lip plumper with spf in it. It got me thinking about all of my makeup. Do you have a rule of thumb for when to replace your makeup? I am just recently really getting into makeup so I’d love to know!

@KatLouRo @I follow the general rule of makeup/beauty opening as shown on the back with the container and number. Also if you google search makeup expiration dates this helps too as shown below.
