@Anonymous Fun for you! I've done a couple and have always had a great experience. Always go in with a game plan, at least some basic idea of what you'd like (full glam? specific products you're looking to try? colors? etc) as the makeup artist can only give you what you want if you ask 🙂

The makeovers I've had done generally start with skin prep, almost like a mini-facial, and I actually enjoy this step maybe more than the makeover itself...I'm a skincare junkie so trying out new products is always a bonus! Then comes the makeover itself and the artist will chat with you to discuss a game plan, products, overall look, then they will go grab products and start. After the makeover, some artists are really good with listing all the products they've used on you in the app, others...less so. If there's someone you loved, but don't want to buy right away, don't forget to note it yourself!

Rouges get free makeovers, everyone else has a $50 buy-in, though you can also just buy a $50 gift card instead of actual products. Have fun!

@Anonymous  Just go to the store about 5-10 minutes before your time and let an associate know you're here for your makeover. You'll give them your time and name and they'll get you started 🙂

Makeovers are a great way to try new products, I like to have a list of makeup products I want to try before hand and I ask the associate to try and incorporate some of them into the makeover. That way it gives me a better idea of I want to purchase it or not.

If you're a Rouge, they'll ask for your card, otherwise you'll have to buy $50 worth of products (or a $50 gift card) at the end of the session.
