Wedding Day Makeup Advice - HELP!

Has anyone done their own wedding day makeup? I've had bad experiences getting my make up done by professionals on multiple occasions. It just never turns out the way I want it to and I have sensitive skin so I like to use my own products. I'm not an expert artist, but I am getting better. I have plenty of time to prepare since my wedding isn't until next year. Any advice?

I guess waterproof mascara & setting spray would be a must, other than that just look for a look you would like to recreate & practice it - you have some time to prepare, so I am sure you will do a great job when your big day arrives. Best of luck. 😉

I did a lesson with the products I own and ended up doing mines and my brides maids makeup. It was nice doing the demo as my wedding look is a little softer other my usual. I also made sure I had a good setting spray and waterproof everything as I knew I was going to cry. It lasted the hole night so I was happy. Just make sure you do a couple test runs.

Congrats! I’m also getting married next year and might do my own makeup! I think the hardest part is deciding what products to use - ex foundation that will last and look good all day, what lip colour/formula would be best - but I agree with a years time I think it will be great 🙂 I did my sisters makeup and bridesmaids for her wedding and it was really fun!!
