Uses & Expectations for the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint?

Hey Beauties! I was hoping to get some ideas for using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint  product. On most days, I opt for applying thin layers of concealer, foundation, and setting powder that allows my natural skin texture to come through while covering under-eye circles, etc.

While this routine has been great I would love to get the same effect with less products.

Considering the Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint here are my specific questions to get as much feedback and tips while the SAVENOW sale promo is running Sephora Savings Event 2023 Shopping Advice Thread: What’s in Your Basket? .

- what coverage level can I expect and what different ways have you found to increase blurring?

- is there a wrong way to use this product from your experience (i.e. layering or with any particular application method, etc.)?

- with what skin type (oily, dry, sensitive/reactive, etc.) is least or most compatible?

- is it primer and/or SPF-friendly?

- recommendations for using powder/solid/liquid highlighters and bronzers with it?

Thank you in advance for any tips, feedback and experiences you share with me! 💕🙏🏾

@elenaenjoyscosm,

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint is probably one of the few skin tints I like to use my fingers vs a brush.  I feel like applying it with your fingers allows you to build up according to your preferences.  It kind of blurs on its own.  You can use a brush, or sponge, but I always liked the finish I got with just my fingers.

I didn't love it in the long run because it separated or got patchy as the weather got warmer, I tend to get oilier in the humid heat.  It can ball up with the wrong primer, I don't remember which primer I used, but it would pill.  It might be best to use a moisturizer with SPF like belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 or Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 so that way it doesn't ball up or pill.  Other than that, it plays well with other powder products, and with the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush .  I never tried it with liquid highlighter, but since it has a light consistency, it would probably work well with most liquid highlighters.

@danielledanielle Thank you for the great response and sharing your product experience with balanced insights! I haven't ordered it yet.

I get oily throughout the day as I warm up. I try to stay away from make-up that gets shiny and appears to migrate since it easily transfers to clothes, hair, etc. even with regular blotting.

I definitely know what you mean with product pilling and potential formula incompatibility. Especially happens to me when wax-like or gel consistency mattefying primers and higher SPF moisturizers come into contact.

Based on your feedback, I might try to mix the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint 14  or 16 with Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Mini Hydra Vizor Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Refillable Moisturizer 1 oz / 30 mL  .

Another blend I might try is a liquid/cream/powder highlighter or cheek blush and the Eaze Drop.

Then a quick light sweep with a face brush to apply a pressed foundation powder like bareMinerals BAREPRO 16-HR Skin-Perfecting Powder Foundation Deep 55 Cool (TBD) or setting powder.

Definitely love the possibility of mixing and still managing coverage intensity!

Thank you for your feedback and the inspo @danielledanielle    🙌🏾

@elenaenjoyscosm , no problem/you're welcome!  There are some products I still like, even if I didn't have a perfect experience, eaze drop being one of them.  Also, I like your game plan and that you have a good experience with whatever you choose 🙌🏼
