The One Palette Challenge

Who convinces themselves they need every palette out there… Especially when it’s versatile and can be used for both neutral and va-va-VOOM glamazon looks? *raises hand*

Who also has a tendency of buying a new palette, consistently using it for two weeks, and getting distracted by another product, abandoning their new friend OR just gets lazy with their eyeshadow game? *aggressively waves both hands in the air* *starts jumping up and down while waving*

If you can identify with any of the above, we have a challenge for you! We challenge you to dig into your beauty stash and pick out one palette that is extremely versatile. The goal is to use it daily or simply on the days your wear makeup… Up to you and your lifestyle! What we want to see are the different types of looks you can create or descriptions of the looks if you’re short on time or cannot find the right lighting. (A recurring dilemma in my life!)

The looks can be simple or intricate, how you play is up to you! Be sure to leave a comment to share the palette you’re focusing on. As far as updates, please track your progress throughout the week as many times are you're able to. We will try to devote ourselves to one palette for one and, if we aren’t having commitment issues, we can keep the challenge going!

I am going to be using my new obsession, the PAT MCGRATH LABS - Eye Ecstasy™ Eyeshadow & Mascara Kit. The six-pan palette in this kit offers everyday neutral shades, a range of light and dark shimmers, and the kit comes with a gorgeous crystalline pigment for a pop of glam. @BrendaBT will use the beautiful NATASHA DENONA - Biba All Neutral Eyeshadow Palette, @LexBT will be using CHARLOTTE TILBURY - The Icon Eyeshadow Palette, and @RebeccaBT will be trying the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Metallic Pigment Palette.

But not everyone has a camera-ready complexion, every cream doesn’t work for every skin type, supplements aren’t magic elixirs, and drinking plenty of water is a super healthy habit, sure, but guzzling a ton of H2O isn’t going to remedy the chronic eczema I’ve been dealing with since age 8. If you needed to have a skin-care desert island pick, it’s gotta be SPF. Any dermatologist will tell you that sunscreen is the most-important skin-care step because it protects from free radical damage that can cause skin cancer and early signs of aging. Hot tip: If it leaves a bit of a white residue, try adding a few drops of a liquid luminizer, bronzer, or even face tint to avoid that whole ghostly look.

• No tanning bed I ever went to like a dupe...and I KNEW it ALL was bad for me...of COURSE...SMOKING CIGS? ALLL BAD...thankfully I ran a million miles and lifted and drank the wheat grass stuff when I could, but pt is: THIS LADY KNOWS HER SUBJECT MATTAH! I'm not seeing anyone who could POSSIBLY NEED TO CARE MUCH NOR COULD HAVE NARY A TEENY WRINKLE...EVEN IN TIME...ooh, BAD joke...sorry. However, I'm NOT judging, but just warning from dumb-bury my head in the sand and I don't care idiocy and prob some sadomasochism in there hiding in my mind, based on my weekend mornings and well, afternoons too...the sun is fun; but he/she is NOOOOO friend of the days you have more of AHEAD THAN BEHIND, know what I mean? Basically, Go YOU! AND...wear your SPF 900, now that the apocolypse has arrived, ok. I don't want to look better than anyone in their 20's NOW will in 20 years (or DO I?). I have insomnia...just keep beginning judgements with that. wink, nod, whatever smh and such would look like if I wasn't typing up a storm on my laptop, half watching Killing Eve...GREAT SHOW I didn't expect, btw...oops, sorry! I diverged away from skincare, and all things product/makeup worthy. My bad!

Shades-Double Life on lids with Punk and Good as Gone on outer corner of eyes. Blended with Weekender, Riff, and Baja. Inner corner and under brow bone are Stranded and Blaze.

@lmaster , @PenelopeBT i'm using Sultry this week too.  I bought it half off and only used it once.  This challenge helps to prove how versatile it is.  It quickly becomes my top ABH favorite palette right along with Mario. (And MR is still remain my least favorite ... i'm the odd/weird one) lol
