Hi everyone! I just had the best time trying out two of the products and wanted to share my first impressions of them. I tried out the GLAMGLOW #GLITTERMASK and the Kate Somerville Tight’N Cryogenic Tightening Cream. I must admit I have been a little out of the YouTube loop for beauty videos so I had no idea what to expect when I opened up the GLAMGLOW jar. It was magical! ✨

There are glitter and star confetti bits suspended inside the mask, how amazing right?! 🌟 There is a very nice coconut 🥥 scent, it’s not too overwhelming but it’s definitely present. I really liked that! I used the brush provided to apply the mask onto my face and found that it was a very helpful tool. I’ll have to make sure not to lose this! It was precise and applied product evenly.

There was a cooling sensation on my face when I applied this product and it felt so great. Not super cold, just very soothing. That feeling coupled with the nice coconut scent made me feel like I was getting a facial at a spa! As you can see I had a lot of fun while the mask was applied and I was waiting for it to dry 😂 I couldn’t resist sending snaps to my friends and they were equally as amused as I was with all the glitter! It dried down pretty quickly and was very easy to remove. I got most of it off in one quick motion. My skin felt right but not stripped afterwards. It felt very soft too!

I read the instructions for the Kate Somerville gel and it said to use it as the last step of my skincare routine. I usually use the First Aid Beauty Cream after the serum but wasn’t sure how the gel would work on top of a Cream so I skipped that. I’ll try it tonight to see if I have any issues. I was a little surprised (ok, a lot surprised!) when I pressed the actuator and the gel went everywhere! I need to clean out the nozzle.

It really looked like a science experiment gone wrong on my bathroom mirror 😂 The actuator (pump-thank you Kate Somerville for using a fancy word on your packaging) actually tilts back instead of going down like a typical pump would. The gel comes out hard and fast and makes a fizzing sound. It is pretty cold and it dissolved very quickly into the skin. It was a unique experience!

After using both products my face definitely feels nice and tight. I like the way that they feel! Of course these are just my first impressions, I will report back when I’ve had more time to use them! Thank you again for letting me try these Sephora 😘
