Stage Makeup!

Hey there! I’m going to be starring in my towns summer production of Bye Bye Birdie and I was wondering if you have any advice on good stage makeup that stays put and looks nice onstage. You can also use this thread to share tips and tricks with us and ask questions and review your own experiences with specific products. Thanks in advance for your help!

Congrats @actingirlll! The only stage makeup I've used successfully has been MAC. And oddly enough, that is the only time I have ever been able to use MAC successfully (because it looks like stage makeup on me regardless of if that was the intent or not). 

I tried Ben Nye Cake Foundation and there just wasn't a match for me so I would end up spending way too much time mixing and blending and it would just get heavier and heavier and weird looking.  They have probably expanded the range since then though (I haven't needed stage makeup in years).
