PRODUCTS FOR DIY BRIDAL MAKEUP

Hey guys!
I want to try and make my own makeup for my wedding I went recently to Sephora and one the girls guided me through all the steps she was awesoooome, she presented me to the ILIA makeup and cosmetics brand, because my aim is for a soft glam, old money trend or natural look but a bit glowy, like these effortless type of makeup but that have a lot of prep up and steps for long lasting results? That kind of thing. I really liked how it looked!

If this brand doesn’t result for me lol what products or brand would you guys recommend, the steps, layering etc? (My skin is combo and I would like for it to stay all day. As well the eye zone, I have dark circles and the makeup tends to crease)

@Sharelys @Sephora employee here

Congratulations. I also did my own makeup for my wedding.

Another good brand would be Makeup For Ever foundation or Armani luminous silk foundation

for dark circles you would need to get a peach color corrector and also a vitamin c eye cream like the Banana bright from OleHenriksen.

Also a setting spray from OneSize to make your makeup last all day

Re: PRODUCTS FOR DIY BRIDAL MAKEUP

Thank you so muchhh! ❤️ Actually, the beauty advisor that day recommended me alongside the ILIA makeup products, for the eye area, a HUDA peach tone Under Eye Color Corrector, and to layer for beneath to prep the area, a green tea eye cream & serum from Innisfree as well as the water bank eye cream, are these products accurate or will blend well to layer everything up? Should it be enough with one of those or would you recommend the OleHenriksen better as you said ? 🤩

Im really considering on getting a foundation like the one you mentioned for more coverage!
which tone would you recommend I got shades for example rare beauty in 250W and the ILIA it’s the Color Molokai!

Re: PRODUCTS FOR DIY BRIDAL MAKEUP

@Sharelys @The Huda eye corrector should be okay. Some clients love it and others don’t so I would test it out instore. I would try a vitamin c eye cream or The Ordinary caffeine solution. One that targets dark circles. It so hard to say what would work unless you test them out on your skin. Every beauty advisor will recommend different products.

The shades are hard to match because the shade range in each brand can be so different. Did she do a skin scan on you when you went in?
