My makeup is Cakey!

My makeup is super cakey when it drys. No matter what it is, liquid, poweder, it always drys with a lot of texture. Any tips?(foundation and concealer)

@macie1107 Make sure you do really hydrating, good skin care prep before your primer. Also instead of applying your makeup directly onto your face and then blending, put it on the back of your hand first and apply everything little by little so you can control how much product you’re using. Maybe look into experimenting with different primers. Another thing you could try is incorporating face mists into your routine before you apply your makeup (or in the middle of blending liquid products); face mists hydrate and they can sheer out thick foundations and make the blending look more seamless and easy.
