My Beautyblender is Bleeding??

Every time I wash my beautyblender out (I have the original hot pink one) and I squeeze out the excess water, a lot of pink dye comes out with the water. Has this happened to anyone else?? Something about it just makes me a little more apprehensive about what's in there that I'm putting on my face...

It happens for the first couple washes but it’s completely normal.
