Makeup lighting

What type of lighting has worked well for you for indoor makeup application? I live in a place where we do not get much sunlight in the winter so I’m at the mercy of the lightbulbs. I’m thinking my bulbs might be too Warm? I’m wondering mostly about recommendations for color temperature (warm, cool, daylight bulbs), Kelvin if you know it, and type of bulb (incandescent, LED, etc). Thanks for any info.

My current makeup mirror is LED and cool lighting as that is closest to office/shopping lighting.  If I am going out and will be in dim or lower lighting I switch the light off and just use the regular lamp on my dressing table.

I plan on getting a Simple Human mirror when the one I have currently needs to be replaced.  They are expensive but I have some other Simply Human products and they are incredibly functional and long lasting so I know it will last forever.
