Makeup for beginners

Hello Everyone,

I have been to Ulta and got shade matched to Bareminerals Toffee 19 and in Sephora Huda Beauty foundation in the shade 240N Toasted Coconut  and I was wondering what would be a good Concealer, Bronzer , contour stick,  and Translucent powder I honestly do not know much about makeup but I would really appreciate anything

Thanks for all the help I appreciate  it 🥺💜💜💜😭

For concealer, for actual concealing, tarte shape tape™ full coverage natural matte concealer  or Smashbox Studio Skin Flawless Oil-Free 24 Hour Concealer are some good ones; for undereye, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer with Hydrating Medium Coverage is a good choice. If you go with the Huda foundation stick, you probably could just use that with a concealer brush.

Unless you have your heart set on a contour stick, I would actually recommend something like Smashbox Cali Contour Face Palette  or Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Kit Light/Medium . The latter actually comes with a brush and instructions; both kits are actually color-coordinated, to take the guesswork out of color-coordinating.

For powder, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder Translucent . I also like the Dermablend and CoverFX loose setting powders (available at ULTA).

You'll probably want some brushes. Since that cost can add up quickly, I'd recommend looking into some by Real Techniques. They make some good brushes; you can get sets for about $20 at ULTA.

I'd also recommend checking out YouTube for Beginner Makeup tutorials. You may even want to check a few of those out, and see which looks you like, prior to deciding what to buy.

Re: Makeup for beginners

Thank you so much I will check all these products out and I have been watching some YouTube videos but I just can't get the concept of contouring my nose right or around my forehead  I will have to go in person to see if an employee can help me
