Makeup for a Highschooler

hey, i'm in my junior year of highschool and i want to see any looks/brands people my age or older recommend. i'm looking for a cleaner look without too much coverage but just subtle enough. please help!!!

@giataylorsvs  I just graduated high school so hopefully that gives me some credibility💀. Since I pretty much always need brands that aren’t expensive, Elf, L’Oreal, Milani, physicians formula, and Maybelline are always go to’s for me and their pretty popular for being cheap but really good. 

As far as having a subtle, cleaner look, it’s important that you’re light handed with your application and it should work out ok. As a tip, maybe look into getting a skin tint rather than a foundation since it has more sheer coverage (i use the l’oreal hyaluronic acid skin tint). 

If you want actual looks, go on youtube (I recommend youtube instead of tiktok since yt videos can go more in depth) and look up “clean  makeup tutorial”, find someone who’s look you like the most and take time to just practice with the video. It was really helpful for me.

@giataylorsvs @When I was in highschool I didn’t wear a lot of makeup. A powder for my face, brow product, lip balm/gloss and maybe eyeshadow in 1-2 shades. Maybelline makes great affordable makeup. Also Colourpop and Morphe.
