Make up tips for a Highschool freshman

I'd like to wear makeup to school, but just to enhance my natural features (cliche, I know) But I also want it look totally natural, (not at all cakey) anyone have any tips or product recommendations?

Hey! Senior in high school here, and I have a pretty quick routine. I just dab on some concealer, I use Skinfood's Salmon Concealer Cream to make my spots and scars less apparent. For my dark circles (which admittedly get very bad during finals week) I use BareMinerals Stroke Of Light Eye Brightener and set it with a little bit of powder. For my eyes, I just use some eyeliner (whether or not you want to do a cat eye is completely up to you, I don't just because that takes longer) and that's it! My brows are pretty thick on their own, so I just pluck them every so often to keep them in shape. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll wear a bright lipstick. Hope this helps!

When I started wearing makeup to school I just filled in my eyebrows a little, wore some mascara, and a little lip gloss and I was good to go. It's pretty natural and doesn't take much time in the mornings. If you want a little more try a little concealer on the high points of your face and a little bronzer on the cheeks and you can also use the bronzer as eyeshadow just for a little definition.
