MUA

Hi

I went to beauty school 20 years ago, I worked at salons for a couple of years but then left it. About 2 years ago I started getting back and taking courses again and I saw that I really love doing makeup but I am afraid I am too old ( I am now 39) to start from zero. how can I leave behind that fear and just do what I love?

Re: MUA

Age is but a number. Don't ever let your age come in between something you love and are passionate about. Many people change multiple careers throughout their lifetime. @eclp23

Re: MUA

@eclp23 You are never too old for anything - and 39 certainly isn't old by any stretch of the imagination!  Talent and enthusiasm count for a lot - as do professionalism and experience.  If you would like to move forward, then by all means take a step toward that!  I think you immerse yourself in something that gives you pleasure, then you will be more likely to want to continue it.  Best of luck!  🙂

Re: MUA

Agreed with this! Never too old for learning, pursuing a new challenge, or revisiting an old one. @eclp23 fear stands in your way only if you let it. Hold your head high and do what do love!

Re: MUA

I don't think 39 is too old. You aren't even middle aged!  I would not even consider age when looking for a MUA. If talent and years of experience are in your favor, I'd say go for it!
