Is the beauty blender worth it?

Okay. so, SHOCK! Never tried the beauty blender! I wanna splerge and get one. But is the $$$ worth it? I have a real techniques sponge but i feel those go bad after a few months and you gotta replace them. Do beauty blender last longer and apply better or is the quality about the same? thanks for the feedback!!

RE: Is the beauty blender worth it?

You're supposed to replace beauty blenders every 3 months, but you can probably get more use out of it if you wash it regularly and store it properly. Personally I've found the RT sponges are just as good as beauty blenders. I definitely prefer brushes though - I use my fingers to apply my foundation into my skin and then blend it out with the tom Ford cream foundation brush. I've never had a problem with it looking streaky. The TF brush is expensive but it ends up being cheaper than a BB in the long run because I don't have to replace it every few months.

It was defiantly worth it for me

Personally I ditched Beauty Blenders all together as I felt they were sunk costs and I never (even if they werent old and I'd cleaned them) felt like they were clean. Instead I invested in a few different makeup brushes for foundation. I have never been happier!!! Streaking won't occur if you're doing it right and using a brush made for that particular foundation. might be worth looking into for you 😊

I use cosmetic sponges. i get the 100 pk of ULTA brand (little triangle) sponges. same density but softer. use it once or twice and throw it away. beauty blenders give me germaphobia. If you have acne prone skin you have to be mindful of bacteria

Re: Is the beauty blender worth it?

Absolutely especially if you use a really fluid foundation. Brushes tend to streak and the BB doesn't

They are amazing! Def worth the splurge. I prefer the black one it's meant for full coverage makeup. I use it for my foundation and my setting powder. It works wonders!

I have tried both. I kind of like sephora brand pink one I got it for 5 bucks. It's easier to hold for me and is also soft

RE: Is the beauty blender worth it?

Beauty blenders are definitely worth it! For a non latex sponge that's super soft, I can't live with out it!!
