Ilia vs kosas

Debating on which I should get the kosas tinted face oil or ilia super serum skin tint. If you’ve tried both, which do you like better?

I've personally had better luck with the Kosas, just because the shade matched my skin tone far better. I'm very pale and neutral and I couldn't find a shade I liked with the ilia. That said, the formula is easier to work with on the Ilia. I make the Kosas work for me with a bit of powder on my shiny spots and places that move (my face gets oily if I don't give it enough moisture). I just use the fenty loose powder in Lavender because I already have it but I bet any loose powder or translucent powder would do well. If I do this, the Kosas looks really good. If you're willing to do a little extra step the Kosas is IMO a better look!

Thank you! I ended up ordering the ilia, I’m gonna hold on to it and wait to use it until stores open up and I can get a shade match in your store again!

@qarin So full disclosure I have only tried samples of both so I've used them but only 2-3 times each. I think the Kosas oil is a very polarizing product - people either love it or hate it. I'm in the later category, I just found it so greasy and it was sliding all over the place on  my skin (and I have dry skin). I like a dewy look, but I found the product was more greasy than dewy and it did not play well with a lot of other products. The ilia on the other hand, I really like. It was more of than dewy natural tint I was looking for and I had an easier time working with the product.

Hi! Thank youuuuuuu! I agree with kosas sliding all over and being greasy but I loved the color! It matched perfectly. My color iq matches me to a color that I think might not work well. I guess I’ll have to wait till stores open up and get matched again.

I have the ilia foundation but the kosas duo highlighter and bronzer. Both are very creamy and I love the ilia foundation because of the spf. I just wish I could find a primer for under it that minimizes my nose pores. Other than that it’s really great. Blends easily

Hii! Thanks so much!! I was also looking into primers, currently I have the Laura mercier hydrating primer(tried a mini and loved it but looking for clean beauty) do debating with the ren one.
