Hunting for a Mascara

So here’s my problem: no matter what mascara I use, I can’t avoid getting some sort of under eye grey/black and sometimes even raccoon eyes. 

I don’t want a waterproof mascara as I have one that works. Waterproof mascara is just such a hassle to remove and so I really want to find a longwear mascara that is easy to take off at the end of the day.

any suggestions on either mascara products or how to avoid the cursed dark under eyes?

The Ilia one listed below is a good option, @bugzie123. I also really love the Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara Jet Black but it can be a beast to take off. I would recommend, if you haven't already tried, a mascara primer to help whatever mascara you try stay on your lashes longer. I'm a big fan of the Lancôme Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer .18 oz / 5.5 ml
