How long will 1 oz foundation last?

I’m a total newbie to wearing foundation & contouring. I see that almost all foundations are sold in 1 oz containers. If I were to wear medium coverage foundation 3 times a week, how long should a 1 oz bottle of foundation last me?

I’m currently using the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation, and it’s lasted me about 9 months, so far, (I use it 5-6 days a week) and it’s still going strong. I use a moderate amount, and the coverage is great so not too much is needed. I like the applicator for this foundation as well. Lasts a really good amount of time. For a medium amount of coverage, the Even Better Clinique foundation works well and has also lasted a long time for me.

I only use one pump each time, and I don't wear foundation every day, and it lasts me close to a year. I sometimes add a bit of moisturizer or a glowy primer to make it spread a bit more evenly, so I guess I'm really going for light to medium coverage.

@dennisselisseth I bought two 1oz bottles in March that I alternate between, I wear foundation 6 days a week and I would guess I still have another month or two before I finish them. One of them is the Nars Radiant Longwear foundation and I usually apply 2-3 pumps, I would call it medium-full coverage.

@dennisselisseth I wear makeup 5 times a week and don't use a ton of foundation since I mix it with a beauty oil.  A 1 ounce foundation bottle should last you 2-3 months.  Then again it depends how much you wear makeup and how much you dispense out.

Thank you for responding. At least I have an idea of how long a bottle should last me. I bought 2 bottles during the Rouge event so therefore I should be good for a few months when it comes to foundation.
