Guysss help!! I’m getting married 9/14/2024 and I need help with face makeup! I’m pretty decent at eyeshadow but I’m HORRIBLE at face makeup! I’m usually a mascara and brow gel girl but I wanna look my very best on my wedding day! I plan on getting lash extensions for the big day so no lashes! Also I’d like something light weight but long lasting and also doesn’t cover my natural freckles #ginger is that even a thing😅

@MaribethKate Congrats! Have you considered hiring a makeup artist or maybe getting your makeup done at a beauty counter?

I did my own makeup for my wedding day and my best friend as well as done a bridal party. I am also certified in bridal and makeup artistry. It’s a lot of stress if you have a lot of other things going on that day that you need to handle unless you have a wedding planner to help you. 

If you have time maybe go to a beauty counter and ask for hands on help. I find that helps a lot.

@MaribethKate  first off, a big congratulations to you! 💜 second, I am definitely not an expert on makeup myself, but one thing I have found helpful is watching YouTube tutorials. One of my favorite makeup artists is Alexandra Anele, she has some good videos on doing a long-lasting but still natural looking glam look. I am not sure about makeup that works with freckles specifically, but maybe try searching for tutorials specifically for that? And I would recommend looking for base products that are more sheer or medium coverage (like a BB cream maybe), so they don't cover your freckles.
