Help!

So my skin is pretty dry in spots. I exfoliate before I put on makeup but my skin still has rough/dry patches afterwards. If anyone has any tips, please help!

Hi @Karli00

I certainly hope that you are not exfoliating every day as that is likely the catalyst to the rough/dry patches.  Depending on how sensitive your skin is I would limit harsh exfoliation to 1-2 times per week.  If you are interested in delving into some skincare tips to further reduce the dryness you're experiencing please check out this thread: https://community.sephora.com/t5/Skincare-Aware/Skincare-101-Discussions-Questions-and-All/m-p/27192...

RE: Re: Help!

I completely agree with this @Karli00. I forgot to mention that you should not be exfoliating more that twice a week.

RE: Help!

You may want to use a hydrating sleeping mask such as the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask or sheet mask such as the Too Cool for School Egg Creme Mask to help with the dryness @Karli00. Also, using a more hydrating moisturizer or adding a face oil to your moisturizer can help. My current favorite moisturizer is the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin cream that I use at night to restore and protect my natural moisture barrier and the Belief Aqua Bomb during the day. I'm not sure what your skin type is but I have dehydrated prone combination skin and these work really well.
