Fenty Beauty Help!

Hello all! I'm Ariel and I'm new here so please bear with me.

I'm planning a really important trip soon and it's imperative that my makeup is on FLEEK!

So that being said, I went to Sephora recently to get matched up for Fenty foundation. The woman that worked there was really helpful and she was great at matching my foundation, however, she when she tested it on my skin, it looked great. But when it oxidized after I left the store, the color turned quite red on me. This was the shade 360. Should I go lighter or is there a way to fix this?

Also, do I really need to buy the foundation brush because I am still a college student on a budget? And are there any must haves that I need to consider buying from the Fenty Beauty collection?

Thanks for all your help!

Ariel!

RE: Fenty Beauty Help!

Hi Ariel, I never had the oxidation problem my Fenty foundation, but I know that people have this issue. My advice with any foundation is to get yourself a sample from Sephora and try it over a few days to see if you like the color in all different lighting to see if the color works for you. If it changes a lot and its visible, try out some other shades. Personally, I do have the Fenty primer and the foundation brush, but perhaps you can find something else that works for you when you try the foundation out. One of the first things I do when I get a new foundation formula is test it with all my brushes and sponges to see which works best. Good luck!
