Deep-Set: Under-eye smudging

HELLO ALL!

So I have slightly deep-set eyes and have noticed two things that have been happening and am hoping I could get some help sent my way.

(1) My under-eye concealer is caking badly. I've heard of using eye primer under the eye to help prevent this but I feel like it looks to harsh and not smooth. What products do you use or advice do you have that I can use to prevent this.

(2) Whenever I use mascara on my lower lashes, it bleeds or smudges on the outer, lower corner of my eyes. I use Better Than Sex -Too Faced Waterproof Mascara because I like how it looks and people rave about this product and it still bleeds. Any Mascara tips/tricks to prevent this?

Have you tried different brands of concealer to see if you get better results with another formula? If you haven't tried it yet, Nars makes really great concealers. Also, do you set it the concealer with powder? I just started doing that, and it has really increased the staying power for my concealer.

I don't wear mascara on my bottom lashes, so I got nothing there ... sorry!
