Re: Cream or powder contour???

I use and love  Benefit Cosmetics Cream to Powder Hoola Quick Contour Stick...I use it as my bronzer...This stuff is amazing!  Wears all day...Sometimes I layer Cargo bronzer on top.  Sephora also has their own brand powder bronzer in a compact...SEPHORA in Mayan Medium Poudre de Soleil Visage...Its affordable and another good one. I have light to medium ligh skin tone.  Didnt loom orange on my skin either..Its the one in my photo with the star burst imprinted on it..The center one is Cargo and the two little ones right, top of center is Cargo and the lower right is Cargo..Cargo has minimal shimmer. Very very little. Sephoras is matte.Star burst is the sephora compactStar burst is the sephora compactSephora Mayan MediumSephora Mayan Medium3 dark ones are Cargo3 dark ones are Cargo##

Re: Cream or powder contour???

Generally, I find that cream is more dramatic and powder is more subtle. It just depends on the type of look that you are going for.

Re: Cream or powder contour???

I use cream contour and then set it with some powder (bronzer). My favorite is Clinique chubby stick, then I'll use ABH to set my contour!

RE: Cream or powder contour???

Powder is normally more friendly to beginners. I'm using ABH pallete. I think it works great for natural daily look. And it has contours/ highlighters all in one pallete, so it makes it even easier to handle.

Re: Cream or powder contour???

Depends on your skin type.....if you have oily skin I would recommend a powder base contour palette....I love Anastasia’s! It has a soft satin feel and it doesn’t add to your already oily prone skin. If you have a more dry skin type go with a cream based. I recommend adding a small dime size of farsali unicorn tears to your desired contour color...works wonders... I have dry to combination skin so I use both. I’ll make sure to moisturize the areas that are most dry if I do decide to use a powder base contour...

RE: Cream or powder contour???

The Hoola bronzer by Benefit is one of my favorites. The powder is very buildable, so you can really get the desired depth. As for cream, I would recommend drugstore concealers such as L.A. girl. They are cost efficient and are very good quality for being a drug store product.

RE: Cream or powder contour???

I think Hoola powder contour is the best. I have tried many different ones, and I think it is the best.

RE: Cream or powder contour???

Based on experience, as a beginner myself , a power contour is easier to control and very beginners friendly. Unless , you’re really good at blending and want it quick - then i would suggest cream.
