Cream Contour and Foundation Coverage

Cream Contour and Foundation Coverage

I use the Fenty cream contour sticks after I apply liquid foundation, and I just feel like every time I try to blend out the contour that I wipe my foundation off. I have acne scars in that area of my face so it just looks awful and I'm wondering, am I doing a bad job blending it out? I usually try to just blend it out with a beauty blender but sometimes I use a brush first and then the beauty blender. Or is it the product itself?

Does anyone else experience this? I normally use Armani foundation

In sum, how do you achieve contour without compromising your foundation coverage?

Re: Cream Contour and Foundation Coverage

@deliaturner Admittedly I don't use a ton of contour products, however I do use cream bronzers from time to time as well as cream blusher regularly... I try to let my foundation sit for a few minutes before I dive into the next product.  I find it helps it to 'set'.  Then I use a beauty blender to pick up the contour/blusher/bronzer and dab it onto my skin.  I find directly applying the cream product on top of my foundation then trying to sheer it out with a brush always moves the foundation since I have to press harder.  With a beauty blender already loaded up it tends to be spread out on the sponge first so it's easier.  Hope you find something that works for you.
