Confuse on two eyeshadow palette

Can anybody help me with eyeshadow palette. I have 2 warm palettes (abh modern renaissance and tarte toasted) but I am confuse on getting too faced peach palette or too faced gingerbread palette. Not sure which one should I get. Help me please.

Re: Confuse on two eyeshadow palette

@simarank I would get the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette because it has different colors than the warm palettes you own.

thank you for your help

Re: Confuse on two eyeshadow palette

Hi @simarank

What are you looking for in a new eyeshadow palette? What draws you to the Too Faced peach and gingerbread palettes?

One thing to keep in mind is that the Too Faced Peach palette is permanent (not limited edition) and the Gingerbread palette is limited edition, so it won't be available at some point.

IMO both the Gingerbread and Peach palette are fairly similar. They have more warm tones, like you have in Tarte Toasted and Modern Renaissance. Both Peach & Gingerbread also have a good number of neutral shades (which you already have in Toasted & MR). For that reason, I wouldn't say that either one really jumps out at me as being a more unique pick. It's really going to depend on what you're looking for and which one is the better fit.

@simarank

It isn't the same as swatching for yourself, but Temptalia (the blog) has pictures and swatches for the Gingerbread palette. You can google it to see how her swatches look (there's a lot of pink/plum there)!

If you're looking to build a unique collection with a variety of shades, I'd actually suggest looking at different palettes - particularly ones with different shades than you already have. since you have two warm-toned palettes, MR and Toasted, I'd actually look for one with cooler tones or even one that is colourful (if you'd use those shades).

I haven't tried this one for myself, but Bobbi Brown has a new Ultraviolet palette

Nor have I tried these from Huda - but there are a few of them, each with their own colour scheme

Perhaps even the mini Natasha Denona Lila palette for its plums and blue

Viseart is a favourite of mine - if the 12-pans are outside of your budget, you could try one of the smaller options -

the mini Petit Pros

I'd suggest Vol 3

or a Theory palette

(Chroma, Cashmere, Amethyst)

Kevyn Aucoin Electropop for a brighter selection

or Even Pat McGrath (who has some new smaller 6-pan palettes coming out soon)
