Best facial primer?

I currently use hangover primer by too faced with Fenty and I notice my pores seem noticeable and like bumps on my face... I feel like it’s just not a good match. Is the hangover primer recommended with any sort of luxury brand foundation? I’m looking to buy either the Burberry or armani one and I need a perfect primer to give a flawless look. I LOVED the Marc jacobs shameless and the Marc jacobs primer together, but there are mushrooms as an ingredient in the shameless foundation which I’m allergic too.... so if anyone can help figure out what would be VERY similar to that pairing!?! Without any mushroom ingredients!!

@gigikitty I’m really enjoying BECCA - First Light Priming Filter Face Primer. I like that it is controlling my oil, giving my skin a natural glow, and providing a smooth base on which to apply my foundation. It also dries down quickly which is perfect for last-minute-makeup me 😉

I've used the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer Blur Primer Gold  and the GUERLAIN - L’Or Radiance Primer and neither impressed me much. 

Oh, and I should mention that I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and none of the above caused me to break out. As well, like you, I was not a fan of Hangover at all.

The too Faced hangover primer is a great hydrating primer ! But when it comes to primers you want to be sure you are choosing it in conjunction with what you want it to do for your skin, for example , are you oily and want to control that or do you have texture and want to smooth the appearance of your skin. A primer should be chosen that way because now we have so many primers and many are targeted at certain concerns. Fenty Foundation is very matte formula so if your skin is dry you may need to bump up our hydration in skincare as well as a hydrating primer or you may get texture on the skin. It’s all about finding hay sweet combination of primer and foundation that works with your skin !

As not all primers will pair well with different foundations it is trial and error. I do love the Too Faced Hangover RX primer, but wouldn't prefer that if I'm looking to fill in pores on my face. I totally agree with @SportyGirly125 and @bakeamuffin, I would try the YSL Touche Eclat primer has it does an amazing job at blurring out pores!

I heard great things about the YSL primer, but does it cause acne? That’s my concern, I have acne prone skin and don’t want it to clog my pores!

I battle with acne as well and I didn't find the product causing me to break out or anything!

@gigikitty I like using YSL Toucle Eclat Blur Primer and for the t zone area MAC Skin Refined Zone.

I have used the Too Faced Hangover Primer but it wasn't my favorite.

@SportyGirly125 I’ve been wavering on trying that YSL primer; I agree with you about the hangover Primer- it’s a great base for dry skin since it feels so Hydrating but it doesn't blur pores or anything like that.

@bakeamuffin I would get a sample of the YSL primer if you can.  That way you can see if it's worth it.
