My coworkers gave me a $140 Amazon gift card for my birthday! I'm looking for beauty and skincare products/ tools on Amazon but would love to hear your recommendations. I know some Amazon products are fakes or not trustworthy...
Or if you know any good vanity mirror/ lights I'd love to check those out too!
@RAWRitsRED I've had great luck with Korean skincare on Amazon. A lot of brands have direct storefronts (e.g. Purito, cosrx); or sell via authorized retailers like wishtrend.
I've bought the Innisfree face masks before from Amazon and loved it! Maybe I'll get some again
Hi! I’ve also got an Amazon gc and going to buy a ring makeup mirror. My friend whom is a makeup artist says this one is a really good one that’s affordable. It’s on amazon and the seller is trustworthy. This is the one I’m buying. 😞

@deeva22 Thank you!
I was debating on whether I should get one like that or a mirror with lights already on it. I'll check this one out!
The adjustable halo light seems interesting! Thanks for the recommendations(:
Also, when you reply to someone, you can "@" them so they'll get a notification!
Hello! @RAWRitsRED I've bought some beauty related makeup products from Amazon as well as brushes. I've bought the brand CATKIN and found out through their official page on Instagram that they sell through amazon. I've bought some makeup brushes, for example, SIGMA DOES have a seller page on Amazon and bought brushes and eyeshadow palettes directly from them as well as a more affordable brush type like Jessup brushes. Some brands like Profusion have seller pages on Amazon. Nomad Cosmetics has a seller page on Amazon but it's very limited. You can check out Etude House which is a Korean makeup brand that has its own seller page on Amazon (Hershey pallet). you can check out vanity mirrors or stuff to organize my vanity, like makeup brush holders. I always use the Fulfilled by Amazon filter on my searches to make sure I get my products.
Ooh I'll take a look at some of the brushes! Thank you(:
@RAWRitsRED Always pay attention to the seller info on product pages. To avoid counterfeits, I like "sold by" to be either the brand or Amazon—though even if the seller is Amazon, there's probably a chance of getting a knockoff. When in doubt about a brand listed as the seller, contact the brand directly via their own site to confirm that they do indeed sell via Amazon.
Instead of makeup and skincare products, I've shopped Amazon for storage related solutions and skincare accessories. Eh, I did buy my Foreo Luna Mini 2 from Amazon a couple years ago (Foreo is a seller on Amazon) during Prime Day. But mostly, I've bought things like this:
I don't have a standalone makeup vanity. All my in-use makeup is in my bathroom: I've used most of my bathroom counter (it's plenty long enough for 2 sinks but only contains one) and turned one wall into a magnetic storage system for shelves and containers. I do my makeup in the bathroom, usually sitting in a folding stool at the bathroom counter. I use a Simple Human Sensor Mirror Trio; I don't remember if Simple Human sells on Amazon, but I know you can find some of their other Sensor mirrors there. Or there are plenty of other vanity mirrors available at Amazon, as well as LED lights you can attach to any big mirror hung over (or attached to) your vanity.
Oh, and if you plan to use lots of drawers for makeup/skincare storage: check Amazon for drawer dividers.
@lindseyyfaye I've used those Makeup Eraser dupes for a few months now. I also still have some Makeup Erasers; I cut most of my ME into halves or thirds. (Don't need a full size Makeup Eraser to rinse my face, though folding one into thirds makes for a very plushly luxurious rinsing experience!) I bought the Amazon dupes because I'm lazy about laundry sometimes: I needed enough microfiber cloths to use a different one each day for at least 2 weeks. Plus, these have loops so I can hang them off a hook on my towel bar. 👍They've held up great so far: they're just as soft as a Makeup Eraser, they have an "exfoliating" side (longer pile on one side), and their binding's not stiff or scratchy.
I never use Makeup Eraser-type cloths to remove makeup, though. I use them exclusively to rinse cleanser off my face when I wash at the sink (instead of in the shower). Still, I imagine they'd remove makeup as well as a ME.
Thanks for the info! I never really buy beauty products on Amazon but I thought I'd check some out since I have a gift card. I'll have to look for some of the lights and mirrors!
@RAWRitsRED I've purchased several make-up products, tools and a vanity mirror from Amazon and have been happy with all of my purchases. I knew the products that interested me, read reviews and was able to select those that worked for me. Amazon has several great vanity mirrors as well.
