Any good Brands for Athletes?

Hello everyone! When I go to tournaments I always like to wear some makeup to make myself feel a little for confident. I've been messing around with a lot of brands to find what was the most long lasting and sweat resistant. I'm still trying to figure what is. Do you guys have any suggestions for what brands or products are the best long lasting and sweat resistant?

ELF Cosmetics just came out with an Active line with a mascara/eyebrow gel duo, a lip/cheek palette, a cooling mist, and some other stuff (sadly no concealer or foundation)

Depending on how intense the coverage, you can’t go wrong with the Sport BB from Shishedo. That stuff is marathon proof and not too heavy or sticky. Sweat cosmetics was also literally made to do this as well- but the application is a bit fussier which not everyone likes. As long as you are diligent about taking it ALL OFF afterwards, these two should be the better options.

I use Shiseido sunscreen as well. As TembaArmsWide says, it can be a pain to get off, I usually need an oil based cleanser and then a normal cleanser, but that also means you don't sweat it off and it doesn't run into your eyes while you're exercising / running.

I would recommend not wearing makeup while playing sports or working out. It is terrible for your skin and when your pores open, all of the makeup will seep in and clog up your pores. This will make you break out and have acne. After playing lots of sports myself, I have also found that you can wear mascara and fill in your brows, but I don't see why you need makeup. If you are going to sweat there is no point in spending extra money on foundation. It is a waste. Someone on my volleyball team used to wear makeup and she got a terrible skin condition. It took her a while to get rid of it and now she has very bad acne. I hope you consider this suggestion.

Tarte Amazonian clay and that whole routine there.... the products really work together. I know there's another one for athletes on the tip of my tongue... I'll get back to you. Also, Clinique will help you avoid clogging your pores. Would reccommend keeping some wipes with you if you sweat your face off tho.

Definitely seconding the Too Faced Peach Perfect

I recently have been trying out Too Faced Peach Perfect foundation because I've heard such good tings about it being transfer proof and it's been awesome so far ! As an athlete and a very sweaty person in general, this has worked great. It is a matte foundation so if that is not something you need, I have added a little bit of moisturizer in it and it worked great for my combo skin. Good luck!

A lot of people suggest the Too Faced foundation. I think I need to check it out. Thanks!

Make up forever have great waterproof/sweat proof long lasting options. The only eyeliner I trust not to disappear off my face is their Aqua XL pencil. I apply just a tiny bit and smudge in the outer corner for definition. Their Pro Fusion Bronzer are the most natural looking bronzer I've ever seen, and it doesn't move even if you swim. I know many synchronized swimmers love their stuff. If it works for them it should be good!

Well if swimmers swear by it, then dang! I gotta try it

Try checking out SWEAT cosmetics. I haven't tried it myself, but have heard good things.

I'll make sure to check that out!

The Marc Jacobs crayon gel eyeliners won't budge either. They are a little expensive, but worth it.

Ohhh, I remember having a sample of that, it was AMAZING.

I feel so hard! I'm a track athlete and always wear makeup outside in the rain. Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade of course is the best 'cause it won't budge, and I've found that a lot of liquid eyeliner won't either (the elf one stays put really well). I've also found that any cream/stick highlighter stays really well too, and the smashbox and nyx proof it primers don't budge. But essentially my rule of thumb for athletics is nothing powder- if it's powder it will just sweat off.

Thats my problem.... I use powder highlighters and stuff..... I've been considering switching to stick/cream highlighters and contours but I get a little nervous haha. Have any favorites?
