$100 Rouge Reward Question

Happy Friday!

I have some questions for those who've gotten/spent the $100 Rouge Reward...

1. Is it true that if you spend it and want to return/exchange something, you can't do it like a normal return/exchange? For example, If my purchase came to $130 in total and I only pay $30 out of pocket, but want to return it later, I will only get the $30 back and not the $100 reward as a credit?
2. How about exchanges? If a foundation shade doesn't match, can I still do an exchange or will I lose out on the GC and have to pay for the new foundation shade?

@mmmiu  products purchased with the Rouge Reward cannot be returned or exchanged so yes you would lose the credit. 

"Items purchased with a Rouge Reward cannot be returned to Sephora stores, Sephora.com or Sephora inside JCPenney. Unused and unopened items can be exchanged in Sephora stores only for the exact same item (for example, if the item was damaged)."

I'm direct quoting this from the terms on my Rouge Reward. "Unused and unopened items can be exchanged in Sephora stores only for the exact same item." So it looks like you can exchange, but you cannot test out the product because it has to be unopened. So if you can tell by looking at the bottle that it's the wrong shade perhaps you can exchange this way. Hope this helps.

Swapping shades is not exchanging for the "exact same" item; a different shade has a different barcode and is not the exact same item. This one exception was meant to cover the possibility of receiving a damaged item only, in which case you could only get an exact replacement. You will not be able to swap shades if you purchase the wrong one with your Rouge Reward.
