@1127YY you have to consider how much are you willing to spend because PMG comes in all different price points.  Mother offers her palettes in quads, 6 pans, the new PAT McGRATH LABS Mega Mothership: Celestial Divinity Eyeshadow Palette and of course her Mothership palettes.  If price isn't an issue I would go with a Mothership palette.  I would choose a palette that has a color story that you like.  If you want something under $100, the new palette Celestial Divinity would be the best bet.

Thank you so much for the response! Yes, I am looking for a mothership palette. I am deciding between Sublime, Bronze Seduction, Divine Rose I, and Midnight Sun. 🤗

@1127YY @If you want one for everyday I would get divine rose or bronze seduction

Re: Which McGrath palette to buy?

Hi @1127YY ! It depends on your color story preference, price range, and whether you prefer small (6 pans or smaller) or large palettes.

Pat's 10-pan Mothership palettes contain her "special" Blitz and Astral shadow formulas. Her MTHRSHP palettes (the 6-pans and her new 18-pan) don't contain those shadows, but they're still dang good.

A good PMG entry palette is the mini 5-pan  PAT McGRATH LABS Mini Eye Ecstasy: Eyeshadow Palette Subversive  and the other color story, Sublime (if you find it in stock anywhere; PMG direct might still have it). I keep the Subversive 5-pan in my travel kit. If you prefer a neutral or "everyday/work-safe" color story (psh, to me, more colorful palettes are "everyday" and "work safe"), the Sublime 5-pan is a better choice.

If you want a very cohesive color story that can do both neutral and bolder looks: for warm tones, go with PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette - Bronze Seduction  . For cool tones, choose PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership I Eyeshadow Palette - Subliminal . Or you can try PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VII Eyeshadow Palette - Divine Rose Collection 10 x 0.047 oz./ 1.32 g  which is largely a curation of pinks from various existing palettes. Personally, I don't consider Mothership 7 to be a bold looks palette; it's the only Mothership I don't own because I don't want or need it. But many folks love it.

For a warm-toned palette with a bit more variety to play, look at PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette – Sublime . That pop of green is fun!

For even more variety in a palette, try PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VI Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Sun

If you love jewel tone metallics, you want Mothership IV Decadence. There are no mattes in that palette. You can buy it direct from PMG.

Love purples? PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership III Eyeshadow Palette - Subversive is your palette.

For pinks and roses, you could get PAT McGRATH LABS MTHRSHP Sublime: Golden Opulence Eyeshadow Palette as a small (6-pan) palette. Honestly though, the better deal is PAT McGRATH LABS Mega Mothership: Celestial Divinity Eyeshadow Palette if you're not easily overwhelmed by large palettes. You'll get 18 shades of mostly pinks, roses, bronzes, and golds, with a few other colors thrown in. This palette contains several duochrome shades and just 3 mattes.

The pink/rose Motherships are PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VII Eyeshadow Palette - Divine Rose Collection 10 x 0.047 oz./ 1.32 g  and PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VIII Artistry Eyeshadow Palette - Divine Rose II Collection . Mothership 7's color story is more muted and closer to "everyday/neutral/work-safe" territory than Mothership 8, which includes a multichrome shadow.

Re: Which McGrath palette to buy?

@1127YY  I agree with @SportyGirly125 : your best "everyday" palette is probably Divine Rose or Bronze Seduction. You can also easily get safe everyday looks with Sublime if you avoid the green, so it really comes down to how often you think you'll use that shade vs. the others. And Divine Rose contains one of the Sublime shades.

Wow!  Impressive, @WinglessOne !  😘

Re: Which McGrath palette to buy?

@WinglessOne love your answers.  I was looking for the Decadence response.
