What's your least drying matte/satin lipstick?

Hey everyone! My lips get soooo dry in the winter, no matter how much Aquaphor I slather on at night/during non-work-hours. I really miss wearing lipstick, but I haven't had any success in finding one that doesn't dry my lips out even more. 

I'm looking for a non-sheer, non-glossy lipstick that's hydrating or at least not drying - any recommendations? I don't mind reapplying throughout the day and I don't care if it's transfer-proof or not! Stains are fine too as long as they're not drying!

Update: I found a good one! The MAKEUP BY MARIO SuperSatin® Lipstick is working great for me so far; I can wear it all day at work without any lasting dryness. It also reapplies wonderfully throughout the day; no gross flaking or settling into lines (probably because it's not drying me out). Works great over my Aquaphor lip balm stick too.

@R1l3y , it's challenging to find the right formula.  What you described is also tricky, because I'd assume something non glossy and non shiny is a matte finish??  Matte finishes are drying in general.  Smashbox used to make a matte transformer lip product, but it's likely discontinued.  I'd suggest searching on a reselling site if you're interested.  Or, look for a whipped formula/mousse formula like Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick or SEPHORA COLLECTION Soft Matte & Easy Liquid Lipstick .  I haven't tried the latter, but Rare Beauty's easy on the lips, but not smudge/transfer proof.

Semi matte is also an option.  I really like Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Icon The Fill Semi-Matte Refillable Lipstick The MVP (bullet not the liquid).  The liquid version is pretty and comfortable, but it smudges like crazy.

Lip prep helps and @JoSometimes has outlined steps.  A matte liquid lip I love is GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI I’m Still Here Longwear Clean Matte Liquid Lipstick , it's not super drying on me, but it needs lip prep.

@R1l3y I share your pain with the dry lip thing… Here’s a few recommendations.

If there’s an Asian beauty shop near you or you’re willing to order online, check out COSRX Ceramide lip mask. It helped a lot with my chapped lips. Another cheaper, easier to find option is Blistex deep moisture renewal lip balm. Not the same ingredients but I found it to be very hydrating and also helped deal with chapped lips. 

For lipstick that’s non-drying, I would recommend Maybelline’s Colour Sensational lipsticks or Covergirl’s Simply Ageless. The simply ageless ones have a core of Hyaluronic acid that is very hydrating. Avoid matte finishes if you can. They tend to be drying. 

Tinted lip balms like Tower 28 Beauty JuiceBalm Vegan Tinted Lip Balm Drink can also be an option. Two of the ones in that lineup are very pigmented but still technically lip balms. 

For stains, I’ve been using Peripera’s Ink Velvet with lip balm on top. It generally stays put at least for a few hours. It’s a k-beauty brand but I got mine at Miniso. It’s not glossy and layers nicely with lip balm for hydration.
