What is the best clear lip gloss?

If you're looking for just a clear lip gloss, I would suggest the Essence gloss in the shade 01 behind the scenes. It's a strictly clear one that I use practically every day. You can dab it on slightly for just a little shine, or put on a lot for a nice, wet look. It's a real bargain; it costs only $2.99! I know it's sold at Ulta, because that's where I bought it, but I'm pretty sure it's not sold at Sephora. Also, it's cruelty free!

I know you asked for clear gloss, but this one has a very subtle tone that looks natural and just very complementary on everyone I’ve seen wear it (including me). 

I resisted buying this gloss until very recently because the hype was just a bit much for me. I was suspicious of how much people raved about it and wondered if it had to do with Rihanna’s star power more than the product itself. Once I tried it, though, I quickly discovered that this gloss deserves every bit of hype it’s had. It looks and feels incredible, is very hydrating but not sticky, and gives that “my lips but better” natural effect. Love it.

Hey thanks for the suggestion but I already have this gloss and it's very pretty but shows up a lot since I am very pale.
