Sephora Lip Liner - Dressed to the 90s

I  seriously don’t understand why Sephora got rid of the Retractable Gel Lip Liners, Specifically in Dressed to the 90s. That shade was everything - perfect mix of a purple/brown but still pink. It was so flattering and worked with literally every look. 

But what really gets me is the formula change. The original ones were super creamy, easy to apply, and felt amazing on the lips. The new version is way drier and harder to work with. I understand that they’re waterproof and meant to last longer, but it’s not the same product at all.

I believe they should’ve kept the old formula and made the new one a separate option. Not all of us want that stuff, long-wear feel— the original was perfect the way it was.

If anyone’s found a good dupe for the shade Dressed to the 90, (or even the shade The Nudest) please drop it. I’m still in mourning.

Nooooo!! That was my all time favorite lip liner 😭 I just ran out this morning and was looking online to make sure they had one in stock before I went into Sephora. I am so upset!! I had finally perfected my lip and that liner was integral to the final look. Ughhh. I’ve never been able to find a liner I loved as much as dressed to the 90’s. I’m so sad. Sephora, BRING HER BACK!!!

Oh dang! I really liked that one! I have been loving the Make Up Forever Artist Color Pencil in 606-Wherever Walnut. It’s similar to the Sephora one. I’ll follow this thread for more good suggestions!

@alexia89, lip liners were reformulated, just reread what you said, but look at Sephora Kohl's, or if there's a duple on Temptalia.

I love that shade too. Can they just bring it back. If anyone finds a similar one, let me know.
