Reed Player

So I play clarinet every single day and whenever I wear something on my lips it comes right off onto my reed and ruins it. Are there any products out there that would help me fix this?

Re: Reed Player

If you really want colour on your lips while not ruining your clarinet, can you look into a lip product that stains your lips even after you've removed it?

I know the YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stains go on very glossy, but after being left on for a few minutes, they leave colour behind even after you've rubbed the product off. This will probably lead to quite a bit of product wastage, but I don't think I'd chance it with ruining your instrument with a lip product!

Alternatively you *could* try a liquid lipstick that is long wearing and transfer-proof, but in my experience nothing is fully transfer proof - there will be crumbles and slight colour transfer as the day goes on or you eat food/drink water.

That's tough when you're having direct contact with the lips have you tried using a Matte or s lip stain I know those tend to grab the lip better.
