Recommend some Long Wear Lip Products!

Hello all. I am a makeup fanatic but I've tended to stay away from using too much lip color for a few reasons. One being I just didn't want to, but the other being I can never find that right kind with LONG wear. What are your go to brands for long wear lip products? Favorite Colors? Tips to make them stay? thank you!!!!

I would definitely say the the new ABH matte lipsticks are some of the most long wearing lipsticks I have ever used. They are especially amazing if I put them over the UD Multipurpose Ozone Primer pencil. The bite beauty ones are also great, just not as long wearing.

I just wanted to clarify that I'm talking about the classic stick lipsticks here. But the liquid ones are good too 🙂

I don't apply any lipstick without first using the UD Ozone primer first. I can use that plus the KVD liquid lipsticks and my lipstick stays on 12 hours easy, depending on what I eat/drink. I was wine tasting with my girlfriends who all asked me what I did to keep my lipstick perfect all day without any touch ups.

I personally have never found a really comfortable liquid lipstick, but i LOVE bite beauty amuse bouche lipsticks. I find the bolder shades are particularly long lasting if I use a liner and blot - they stay through the day and eating and they're much more comfortable to wear than a liquid lipstick for me personally. If they do wear, it's typically just a little bit in the centre and I find they reapply beautifully as well!

A great brand for long lasting liquid lipsticks is kat von d. They work even better with lip liners under them and there’s a huge range of colors. For something more affordable, the Sephora collection or morphe liquid lipsticks are very long lasting.

They're a little on the pricey side but Chanel's liquid lipsticks are by far my favorite. They're long lasting, they don't get cakey and are not drying whatsoever like I've found other liquid lipsticks to be. Or you could go with huda beauty liquid lipsticks. I just started wearing hers but have been pretty happy with them so far!

For gloss, the new Latex line by Too Face is SUPER dope. I reapplied only near the center of my lips post eating. And even then, it still had color, just a little lighter. Also, Bite colors are dope, although they move a lot. Still get good timing out of them. Also, as someone whose lips dry out, these also keep lips moist. For matte... I'm looking for one that doesn't make my lips feel like the Sahara. The Anastasia has great long wear, but SO drying.

I use Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks almost exclusively. They stay on even after eating. I'm a waitress, so I talk consistently throughout my 12 hour shifts. The only times when I have to reapply is after eating a relatively large or greasy meal or if I apply a gloss or lip topper. Kat offers such a great variety of colors that it is super easy to find a shade you will fall in love with.

With the exception of Tarte quick dry matte or glossy lip paint I've given up on longwear lipstick. I'm a fan of nudes, but every shade of the Tarte paints are gorgeous. I bought one of the new Hourglass long wear lipsticks the other day, I had to basically tug it across my lips to get it on and it was crumbling an hour later.

I had the same experience with the exact same one 😑
