Ok Lip Lovers, I need help!

Often, my lips and lip color get little to no attention when I’m doing a full face of makeup. I’d really like to start adding a bit more effort in that area to complete my looks. Any suggestions on who to check out or your favorite products would be awesome!

Try NARS Audacious Lipsticks. They are so pigmented, creamy, and comfortable.  I love them. I also love YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil in Stick lipsticks. They are more sheer, so shiny and hydrating, and the packaging is so pretty. The packaging on the NARS lipsticks is awesome too. It has a magnetic closure and just feels nice. Good luck!

@StellarLlama I’m in the same boat as you! Trying to round out looks with some lipstick. 

My favorite lip paint is the Fenty Beauty Lip Paint. It stays on really well for me. I also like the Fenty lip glosses. I have several of the Fenty Matte Lipsticks but in the winter they are a little too matte for me and I’m looking for a way to make them feel less dry.

I love MAC lipsticks and lip liners. I also love their prep and prime lip primer. It really seems to help keep the lip on. I’ve been able to do a red lip all night with dinner with no problems. 

I have also had good luck with Marc Jacobs lipstick and Anstasia Beverly Hills. I have gotten some of the Sephora lip kits to try different formulas and brands to see what I like as well.

@StellarLlama it depends what you're looking for. I prefer liquid lipsticks for when I'm going out because I don't have to keep reapplying them. My favorites are from Fenty beauty, Kat Von D and Anastasia Beverly Hills. They're also decently priced. Somedays I prefer lipstick my favorites are from MAC, Marc Jacobs and Urban Decay. Recently I've been into gloss alot! Fenty beauty now has 3 to choose from. The formula is great and not goopy and sticky at all. I also love the ones from bite beauty. I hope that helps you!

ColourPop is AMAZING and very cheap. Their formulas are so good and they have a huge shade range selection.

For higher end brands, Pat McGrath is nice but they can be iffy on shade colors on the website like Bobbi Brown. One that doesn't do that is Givenchy, which is my favorite high end brand right now. Their formulas are awesome and also a huge shade selection, but are more pricey. I wait for the yearly sales to pick some up 🙂

Hi @StellarLlama!  Lip products are my favorite makeup item, and I have a lot of them!  I've recently tried two new products that I really liked.  

The first is a new Bobbi Brown release- Crushed Liquid Lipstick.  The colors are gorgeous, it gives a nice sheen to the lips, and the applicator allows for very precise application.  It also has a very comfortable formula.  The only thing is, I don't think the shades shown online are very accurate of how they appear in real life.  I purchased Hippie Shake, which is supposedly a muted pale blue pink.  On me, it turned out to be a mildly bright berry!  Most of the colors are saturated and bright.  If you like soft colors, stick with the first four that are listed at the link below.

A few weeks ago Sephora offered a points reward of Armani's Rouge D'Armani Matte lipstick in 102 Androgino.  I think it's a beautiful, not too light nude.  I really like how the lipstick applies, covering the lip without need of a liner.

Finally, one of my favorite brands, Charlotte Tilbury, has several different lip product formulations.  I recently purchased Birkin Brown and Very Victoria.  These lipsticks are easy to apply and wear.  To be honest, my coloring is a little too cool to match a lot of her shades, but by looking at your avi it seems like you would find a lot from her that would match your skin tone well.
