Lip primer/corrector?

Can anyone recommend a good one? I’m new to the lip game and am on a huge red lips kick.

@FreshIsLife  Add me to the MAC Prep + Prime Lip chorus. 🙂 I apply it over my lip balm (plain ol’ Aquaphor ointment). I don’t use primer each time I wear any lipstick, but I do use it under all liquid mattes, certain matte bullets, a couple of temperamental cream satins, and any bullet that feathers/bleeds a lot (glaring at you, Urban Decay Firebird and several of my Bite bullets). This primer extends wear time, provides a smoother base, creates an additional moisture barrier to keep my lips from drying out under liquid mattes, and reduces feathering. For my chronic bleeders, I sometimes just outline my lips with this primer to form an anti-feather barrier. I also do that with a few glosses. 

I’ve tried lip primers made by Bite, Urban Decay, Cargo (not sure they make it anymore but if you ever want a super grippy lip primer, this is it), Make Up For Ever, ABH, Too Faced, Lipstick Queen, Ulta, e.l.f., and probably others I’m forgetting right now. Some were terrible. Others were okay. None were as good as MAC’s. Of course, your mileage may vary with any of these, depending on the condition of your lips and the things you expect a lip primer to do.

I love red lips, too! But yes, lip primer is your best friend if you want your lipstick to last all day. I recommend the BITE BEAUTY - Line & Define Lip Primer. What I like about this product is that is has ingredients like Jojoba Oil to moisturize and prime your lips, so they don't get dry throughout the day.
